Rick Daniel

Rick Daniel first came to Brevard on a backpacking trip in 1997 and knew that it would be his home someday. That day came in 2010 after graduating from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in Northern Kentucky and passing the North Carolina Bar Exam. He moved to Brevard and began practicing as an attorney, working as an Assistant District Attorney, and later opening his private practice in downtown Brevard. He is also the current President of the Transylvania County Bar Association. He always loved real estate, but did not want to approach it as an attorney. “I really enjoy working directly with buyers and sellers to help guide them through the process to reach their goals. That is the most rewarding aspect of real estate to me, not preparing the documentation for closing.”

Prior to entering real estate brokerage and practicing law, Rick worked as a Financial Analyst for several companies in Tennessee, Florida, and Ohio after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. During his free time, you are likely to find him on his mountain bike or working his way up a small stream with his Tenkara fishing rod in Pisgah National Forest or Dupont State Recreational Forest.
